Promises Promises IV

In Promises IV the repurposed objects serve as attributes in the most traditional sense. They allude to specifics of the original narrative: the occupations, locations and cultural expectations of the villagers from which the children were trafficked. Damaged and broken, the ceramic pots, distressed wedding gown and furniture reinforce the physical and emotional violence inherent in sex trafficking.
