SCULPTURENOW: Lenox, Massachusetts

Parallel Migrations XXIX is similar in concept to earlier works I created in Europe and the United States. Parallel Migrations references personal, spiritual and/or physical journeys. For the current installation I used my signature image of the Monarch butterfly as trail markers. Nestled in trees and rocks, the silk screened butterfly clusters lead visitors up the pathways to a destination site. Here visitors find a unique sculpture: a focal point incorporating found and/or recycled objects partially camouflaged with butterfly images.
